Born on 26th July 1943 in Bahrain. He was the oldest\u00a0son of Abdulrahman Khalil Almoayed a Well know, merchant. He Married to \u201cLayla Y. Almoayed\u201d and blessed\u00a0with Four Children. Abeer, Osama, Amel, and May. He received his preliminary education at\u00a0Manama Secondary School, Bahrain. He then received\u00a0his B.Sc. Economics in University of London, England.\u00a0His first task was to building the two building for his father and uncle.\u00a0 Almoayed Twin Towers.<\/p>\n
Soon after he started his Political and Public Service life. His first assignment was a Member of Constitution Assembly, 1972. (Drafting the first Constitution
\nof the State of Bahrain), and member of the National Assembly. Then he was appointed\u00a0as the Minister of Information, Government of Bahrain, (1973-1995) his Responsibilities\u00a0was for the mass media policy, culture, museums, archaeology, and tourism.
\nOther posted and duties included Chairman of Gulf News Agency: The first news agency in the Gulf. President of the Supreme Council for Tourism, Bahrain (1986-1995), the highest authority for formulating the national policy on tourism. Chairman of the National Council for Culture and Arts, (1989-
\n1995), the highest authority for formulating policy on culture and the
\narts. Responsible for the development of the first commercial public
\ntelevision corporation, and the first Intellectual Properties Legislation in
\nBahrain. Contributed to several International Conferences and University<\/p>\n
